The bathroom is quite often ‘the smallest room in the house’ and as such needs to be meticulously planned. It’s not just fitting in a bath and a shower or a double basin, it’s providing the right amount of storage space too. Here are some of our best bathroom storage ideas…
1 – A Cloakroom Cabinet
A cloakroom is usually on the small side, to say the least, but it’s possible to include bathroom storage ideas in a tiny space. If there’s room for a cloakroom basin, there’s space for a cabinet beneath it. All beautifully illustrated here with our Bermuda Graphite Grey Cloakroom Vanity Cabinet. The door can be hinged to the left or right to suit a tight layout, and the single hole ceramic basin can be teamed with a mixer tap of your choice.
2 – A combination Unit for Basin + WC
A combined unit is a good ideas as it’s space-saving as well as providing storage space. Putting both cabinets together can be the solution in a narrow bathroom (or cloakroom) and of course, there is the added bonus of storage space within the vanity cabinet. Lots of space in the double-door cabinet, and the appearance of a more spacious floor area as it’s on legs rather than flush to the floor.
3 – A Wall-Hung Storage Cabinet
A narrow wall-hung cabinet can add extra bathroom storage to virtually any bathroom, and choosing a gloss white design, such as our Corsica Bali Gloss design, can fit in with many different colour schemes and patterns. Choose White Gloss for a stylish and timeless look that adds practicality and style to a bathroom. 4 – A Double-Drawer Wall Hung Vanity
Keep it neat and simple with a wall-hung double drawer vanity, such as our Elba two-drawer wall hung vanity cabinet. This design provides two drawers, each with storage – the top drawer is U-Shaped internally to accommodate the ceramic basin. 5 – A Mirrored Wall Cabinet
Wall cabinets above the basin are a brilliant way of adding storage ideas to the bathroom, and of course, don’t take up any floor space at all so there is rarely a reason not to include one to make your new bathroom storage friendly. This is one of our wider models at 1200mm wide, with three doors, and it’s a perfect fit above a double basin cabinet. 6 – A Corner Vanity Cabinet
A corner cabinet is not just a great space-saver in smaller rooms, it includes storage as well and can be a great solution to a small, square room. 7 – Go for Wide Curves

These spacious drawers are 1000mm wide (a standard single drawer cabinet is 600mm) so you get a good bit of internal storage, plus a nice clear flat space at the side of the basin as well. 8 – Short Projection + Storage Ideas
As we’ve said many times, even small bathroom need storage space, so we have a ‘short projection’ design that is less deep than our standard depth furniture. This means you can still get a couple of roomy storage drawers without compromising too much on floor space.
